Quarterly 941, Line 11

Post by onemore4gsus »

When I process the Quarterly 941 and Schedule B from PowerChurch, Line 11 shows no payments. Yet, Schedule B shows all my semimonthly payments. The total I've already paid shows up instead on Line 14 as Balance Due.

What "innerds" can I change to make it come out right?

I end up re-creating the 941 from the IRS site, but it sure would be nice for it to come out right the first time.

Thanks, all!

Let me ask an obvious question and forgive me if you've done this, but did you enter your payments in the field for Line 11 when you were going through the 941 report creation routine? And if so, are you saying that when the report is created, the amount doesn't show up?

Just to add to what Bill is saying. When the 941 wage information is displayed, I believe it is 5 separate windows, you need to fill in some of the information manually. One of the fields is for line 11, which is the third window. The next window asks you to verify that each payment is correct. The reason for this is that you may have made actual payments that differ from the calculated payments within PC. When the third screen is displayed during the 941 creation process the line 11 field is highlighted. Just enter the actual total payment you have made - and any COBRA information should you have any - and then verify that the "Tax Liability" numbers are correct on the next page and the 941 will be created correctly.
