Fund Deposit Question

Post by bachristo »

Our church has 3 seperate checking accounts 1) General, 2) Benevolence, and 3) Pastoral. Each checking account is in seperate fund. We have also set up different contribution funds for them.

Would we have to do a fund transfer to the Benevolence and Pastoral accounts whenever money is received for them? Or can we have the proper funds debited/credited automatically? I need clarity on this.

You should be able to set your contribution funds up to point to the appropriate fund income lines. The first two digits of an income line pertains to the fund number.

You'll just need to ensure that the deposits are made to the appropriate bank accounts.

Make sense?
