I need to be able to run Financials for our Day Care, separately and as part of our general fund. I set up a second fund for the daycare, but how do I copy the data from the last year and current year to the new fund? I want to be able to run financials for both funds at year end as one set of numbers, which seems to be possible, but I also need to be able to separate out the day care numbers for certain grant and state filings as well as for our Church Council.
Please advise...

There's no way to 'copy' the data automatically, you would have to do that manually, and hopefully you have not closed out any months of the previous year.info@mykingsway wrote:I need to be able to run Financials for our Day Care, separately and as part of our general fund. Then once you've copied the data, you'd have to make all the accounts in the first fund that pertain to the day care, inactive so they wouldn't show up again in reports.
My suggestion is that you think about starting this at the beginning of the next year, or whenever you start your fiscal year, it would save you a lot of headaches.

Okay...Do you know of a way to post P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow using only part of a fund? I can't seem to figure out the way to customize such a report.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I was reminded of this by Jeff yesterday, create a subaccount number for all the Day Care accounts .. you can use anything 100, 200, etc.; then you can use that to include or exclude data.info@mykingsway wrote:Okay...Do you know of a way to post P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow using only part of a fund?
