Hi,
My church has a gmail account. Occaisionally, when emailing to a group, gmail begins rejecting emails due to reaching a daily limit (apparrently, 500 per day). Which raises several questions: 1. in what order are group emails sent? By last name, by email address, other? 2. Since we do not even approach 500 emails sent per day, why is gmail flagging our account?

Re: Email to user groups
I'm fairly sure that group emails are sent out by last name. As far as why Gmail is flagging the account, you'd have to ask Google on that, but do you have the 'Advanced Setting Options' set to only send so many emails out every few minutes set?shi45fty wrote: ↑Sun Dec 13, 2020 10:40 amHi,

I usually advise setting that to 25 every 15 minutes to keep any 'spammer' algorithms from being triggered at your ISP. If you're only sending out less than 40 or 50 at a time, maybe once a week, it should not trigger any issues. However, I would check with Google.
