Back-up problems

Post by dgross »

I installed the latest Maintenance Release (11/6/07), and I am now unable to pull down a menu when I click on "backup and restore files". Should I try reinstalling the maintenance release? Or is there something else that could be wrong?

There was an issue with DVD burning in Windows 98 that we've addressed, but nothing relating to XP.

The dropdown list you're not seeing is the drive listing, right?

It's not going to hurt anything to reinstall the maintenance release, so you can certainly try that. A reboot wouldn't hurt either. You can also download this file: http://www.powerchurchsoftware.com/pc10dvd.exe into your PCPLUS10\INSTALL folder and run it. That will reinstall some of the files used in the backup process.

It was the drive-listing that was not coming up. There was a slight flash, but that was all. Anyway, I had already tried a reboot, so I reinstalled the MR and it's working fine now. Thanks a million! I never fail to get help from this forum.
