Tales From Tech 2 - Issue: 24
A funny thing happened on the way to the forum.Today, I wanted to tell you about a new support tool that we have created to help you get the answers you need, when you need them.
Anyway, thinking about nothing in particular reminded me of that old saying: If hindsight is 20/20 and you can't see the forest for the trees, the forest must be in front of you.
I GET BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
In the past, technical support has consisted primarily of direct calls or e-mails to our fast, friendly Technical Support Department.
We are here when you need us (well, at least from 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, that is) and we're happy to help any way we can, but sometimes you might have questions after our office has closed. Or, maybe you just want to hear how other users handle something within the software. So, we have developed a new support tool to help you and to help you help others (since it's better to give than to get poked in the eye with a stick).
This new support tool is the PowerChurch Software Forum and it's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This forum is an online message board designed to create an online community where PowerChurch Plus users, technicians and consultants can come to share ideas, tips, tricks and to help each other.
Our Technical Support Department will be moderating and overseeing the day-to-day activity and offering their input as needed, but our hope is that the forum will become a self-sustaining, cooperative effort driven by users, not necessarily our Technical Support Department. In other words, we want you to come to the forum to ask questions, but we also want you to come to the forum to offer advice, answers and feedback to other users.
Just keep in mind that the forum is designed to be a place where you can ask questions and share information. If you have complaints, you should forward them to us directly at support@powerchurch.com.
COME TOGETHER
So, now is the time for all good (and even average) users to come to the aid of each other and their country by signing up on the PowerChurch Software Forum, which you can do at http://www.powerchurch.com/forum/.
