Great. Unless the format has to be set for each pc, the reader should be set correctly internally because it was working with an older version on a different machine. Oddly enough, I had contacted MagTek in regards to this issue but they never mentioned this file. That reaffirms why I posted to this...

Neil, Thanks for the response. I do not have the usb version, I have the PS/2 model. I do not believe it requires drivers but I will look into this. I have not had a chance to test the check reader output to notepad either but I will try to get over to the church tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again.
