Tracking when a a new visitor gets added to the database

Hello,

As a a large downtown church, we would like to track new personal profiles in the database added on a daily base as we usually send a 'thank you package' for their donation. Is there an easy way to export this data for the ministers?

Saving a report (Windows 8.1 X64)

Hello, When we try to save a report in power church, a small window pops up that reads 'transfer file to local workstation', then it disappears and nothing happens. This happens for all document types (pdf, word etc.). We are able to print to file (as a pdf) but we'd like to have the document saved i...

Re: Upgrade to Windows 8.1 makes powerchurch online UI unusa

Hello, I've figured out what the issue was. As the laptop has a high DPI screen it distorted the program. To correct this; go to the IDS exe located in Program Files, right click on the exe, go to properties, then go to compatibility, then check 'disable displace scaling on high DPI settings. (I als...

Upgraded Computer, Slower Program Performance

We have recently upgraded our old computer (P2, 128MB RAM, Windows 98se) to a newer (Core 2 Duo, 2GIGs RAM, Windows XP). The only hiccup we have since the upgrade is that the 'view posted contributions' module takes about 1:30 minutes to load (whilst the program hangs 'not responding' and half of th...

Export Church Directory to spreadsheet for selected members

Hello, I'm supposed to be calculating a geographic partition of the congregation for an upcoming Cong Care event. I'm trying to do this with a GIS program, but to do this, I need to get a list of where everyone lives. Is there a way to export the congregational directory to a spreadsheet (name + add...

Hello, I have a similar problem. We are running a campaign and would like to send a letter out to those who have not pledged to this campaign (or essentially the Fund #). I tried to do a report for those members (or those with envelope numbers including visitors) who have not pledged but I get the r...

Mailing Labels in Selected range & in Alphabetical order

I have a letter to send out to the members with envelope #'s between 1 and 999. I also need the list in Alphabetical order, so it doesn't matter whatever the Envelope #'s are in order just the Family name.

Please reply with a detailed solution if you have one.

thx,
vtz

Selected Envelope #'s for Mail Merge

Hello Everyone, I am currently in the process of creating mailing labels for our Credit Card and PAR donators. There are 80 or so of these people. The problem is however, the recipients envelope numbers are scattered (ex. 1, 4, 8, 200, 643, 900 ….) I found the option in PC+ 8.5 to create mail merges...

Searching for Contributors

Hello, Is it possible to search addresses as opposed to names in PC8.5? Some of the contributors' handwriting is illegible and it is very difficult to search for only their name. Also, I have an issue of searching first names only, and the results that are returned have used the first name as anothe...
