The withholding was wrong because the federal withholding box for the salary item got 'unclicked' :( probably while trying to add a new item, I inadvertantly clicked it off. So I should just adjust the September check (which hasn't been cashed) with the amount that should have been withheld in August?

fixing a payroll check
I have found an error I made posting payroll in August 2015 - I withheld the wrong amount for one employee's federal withholding. The check has been cashed. How can I go back and 'fix' payroll to reflect the new withholding amount and therefore get my 941 report to reflect the correct amounts?
