Re: Printing checks out of order
I have had the same problem for probably a year. Using version 11.1 with current maint. updates. Using preprinted checks. If I have multiple computer checks to print, they do not match up with what is recorded under accounts payable. I have to go in to accts payable and manually correct the check nu...

New construction fund accounting
Our church has plans to start building a new church. In planning ahead for the accounting of expenses for this, what is the best way to track all the associated expenses? We will have a separate building fund to take in contributions for this construction, as well as loan money. Do you add an expens...

Pastors salary on form 941
In going through the Form 941 assistant, it looks like the pastor's salary is included in the calculations for tax owed. I was under the impression that the pastor is required to send in his own quarterly tax (separate from the other staff payroll). Have I done something wrong in the payroll setup?

Fund balance correction
New treasurer this year, new Powerchurch user. Our church is rennovating an old building to be used as our new church. I set up an expense account "new building rennovation" to keep track of these rennovation costs. However, until this month, I was just paying the expenses out of our general fund ra...

Re: Posted contributions not showing in chk acct
Since my posting, I looked a little further back at the old postings and found someone with the same problem. Just had to enter the total deposits for each fund under fund accouting transactions, and after posting they are now showing up in the check register and the accounting reports.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Voiding a check -- "check number was not found"
I've recently had to restart the accounting setup. I have re-entered all of my checks under fund accounting transactions menu. I now need to void several of these checks, but when I attempt to do this, the program says "check number was not found". I can locate these checks under fund accounting "po...

Posted contributions not showing in chk acct
I am new user. Due to some initial setup errors, I had to restart the accounting setup last week. The re-entered check transactions are all showing up on the check register, and in the fund accounting reports. However, the posted contributions from January 1 until end of February (which were not del...
