I'm getting an error message when I try to export a file (income/expense) report to excel.

It says

"Error: 1429
Method: report_export
Line: 122
Message: OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from crystal reports activeX
Designer access denied..."

Problem solved. The account to close was the wrong one for another account.

it is a donor restricted fund. $15,000 was moved to our endowment then mved back. Release was used. The issue happened in december as novembers balance sheet was correct. I don't believe that you can limit fund access. For example, one of our funds is a Thrift Shop (TS). I'd like to be able to give the TS treasurer access to that fund but not others like the main church fund (01), or the pastors fund (02). Is here a way to do this? If not, it would be a great enhance...

I remote in to our churches dedicated PC using RemotePC. The issue I have, that doesn't occur if I login on the network at church where the PC is located, is it won't let me select indiviidual items. That is, I can only select all or none when doing, say, posting transactions. I can't choose just so...

I now have version 14. When I print checks it is supposed to remember the last check number. It doesn't, it enters some other (random) number (with more digits).

Is there a special setup other than running it once?

Thanks Neil, I found that shortly after I asked the question. All set.

I just upgraded from 11.5 to version 14. I downloaded it to our "main" computer, but now want it to be accessible to the other computers in the church. We could do that with 11.5 but that was setup a long time ago and I don't remember how to do it for the new version. Do I have to download 14 to all...

We have couple checks that were never cashed that are greater than a year old. I can void them but cannot post them as it is a closed period. How do i fix these?

We have several contributions that were posted to regular pledges vs. capital campaign pledges for an individual. Is there an easy way to change the cumulative amount from one to the other without going in and reversing each incorrect entry? Thanks.
