Re: How to schedule synching?
I have read the post about scheduling a backup. I can't get it to work with our NAS drive which is where the backup.exe file is not on my PC.

Re: repeating transaction error
Normally I click save and close the maintain repeating transactions window and go on to something else. Unless I 'See' the error and fix it right away. If I don't notice it, I get an actual error when trying to Post to Paid items file. It says the transaction detail of invoice "name" is out of balan...

Re: repeating transaction error
I can do all that. I know how to add a repeating entry. My issue is at the point you have the screen shot of "THE WINDOW THAT IS OPEN - Maintain Repeating Entries". Yes, the buttons are greyed out. But sometimes the checking account is no longer there. On your screen it would be the scottsdale check...

Re: repeating transaction error
I don't have Dropbox.
The 'next screen' is when I click Yes to save the transaction and that window closes, the Maintain Repeating Entries window is open still, but the first line of the entries, which was the checking account credit line, is no longer there, only the debits.

repeating transaction error
I have had this happen multiple times. I am setting up a new repeating transaction. I fill in everything and when everything is in balance and PC+ asks if I want to save. I click yes. Then the next screen is missing the checking account credit line. Sometimes I notice and fix it immediately, but oth...

wrong attendance code entered
We have a volunteer entering communion attendance(code 1050), she entered the data into worship attendance(code 1051) instead. Is there a way to combine the attendance on those dates without re-entering all the data? We don't need the worship attendance code.

Re: Import Contributions Type
I just tried another import. I was under the assumption that anything after memo would be ignored. I tried some different information in the next few columns and found it trying to use the 9th column(column I) as input for the type. I have nothing in column H. but I keep the names and addresses in t...

Re: Import Contributions Type
We have version 11.1. Neil - I checked in the Help and the Maintain Custom Codes does list Online as one of the types along with Cash, Check, and Credit Card - all listed with a capital letter. I tried to edit and the program said that was already in use. So if Online is already a type of contributi...

Re: Import Contributions Type
I do reformat the file in Excel before I import. I'm pretty sure the problem is after I select the file on the Confirmation screen. That is where the problem is. The type that I added is not recognized.

Re: Import Contributions Type
I'm thinking that I gave you incorrect information. In PC+ on the Select File screen there is a drop down menu. I have added a type - online. On the Confirmation screen it says "Code on not known". so I click on each person and make the change to Type to Online manually. If I am able to add a Contri...
