Re: Unable to connect to the Check In server

You should be able to launch it on the system with the server. If not, then that's another issue. 1. Check to make sure that the Check-In server is running on the computer used as the main Powerchurch Plus Server. 2. If you have a firewall program running, turn it off to test to see if its blocking...

Re: Unable to connect to the Check In server

I am having the same issue: 1. Is the Powerchurch check-in server running on the machine used as the regular Powerchurch server? yes 2. Are the settings setup properly on the 'client' ? Is it setup with the proper computer name? It wont even launch from the system running the "PowerChurch Server" se...

Re: Automated Backups using Task Scheduler

I have looked and do not see a sticky or a Wiki on how to setup the automated backup using the windows task scheduler, can someone point me to that page please? Thanks! I am sure it is hiding in plain sight.

Roll Based Access?

Does PowerChurch support multiple accounts with access restrictions to certain areas? For example, I have a team who does record maintenance and one who does accounting. I don't want the normal users to even see $ data, let alone modify it. If so, is there a "master administrator" account?

Thanks!

Re: Application Server

Don't store files on the server, use it to host applications/OS's. Buy a NAS for file storage and to contain data backups from your apps server. Buy a refurb server (2x4 core procs, 16-32GB RAM, ~2TB usable storage) and install eSXi on it. Then you can host whatever you need on it and it will not be...

Thin Client and Setup Question

We are working up a cost analysis for our Church. Can Check In use a thin client configuration? If so, can it use Microsoft Multipoint Server 2012 as its back-end?

Is there a setup tutorial out there walking through installing and configuring the various rolls (server, KIOSK)?
