Closing journal entries

Hello,
Is there a way to view the year-end closing journal entries Powerchurch generates? Do we need to close out all 18 months of "open" past months in order for PC to generate these closing entries?

Thank you.

Importing Contributions as .csv

Hello, I am trying to successfully import online giving csv files into Powerchurch. I followed the mandatory format per Powerchurch (Env #, amount, date, fund #, check #, memo) on the csv report. However, everything imports properly except the amount donated, which is zero or blank. Do I always need...

Re: Importing a file into PC from local computer

And does "custom report" mean only reports that were originally created in PC? I would like
to be able to import files into PC that originated elsewhere.

Thanks.

Importing a file into PC from local computer

Hello, I have a .csv file I wish to import into PC. I can easily locate the file on my local computer, but after I request an import through PC, I receive an error message stating that the file does not appear to be a valid custom reports import file. Any suggestions as to how I can change what I am...

Vendor List Incomplete?

Hello, I am beginning to work through year-end maintenance and reports using Powerchurch Online (Mac). I notice that when I print out my Vendor List report under Accts. Payable that this list does not include vendors I have regularly paid throughout 2013. I included ALL vendors for "last year," (Jan...

Re: Custom Report "file does not exist"

That makes perfect sense! I will send the email and let you know if I have any more troubles, but I
think that should solve everything. (Yes, there is a logo on my Mac that is not on my PC.)

Thanks!

Re: Custom Report "file does not exist"

PS: I have changed the path on "choose output type" to save to my hard drive (Client M) and a folder for my PC reports. Nothing ever shows up in this folder. I CAN save in Xcel doc output form and find the file. However, I cannot save in "Column Report" format (as I desire) and find this file anywhe...

Re: Custom Report "file does not exist"

I am using the online version. After working with reports the last few days, I realize it may have something to do with saving changes on a Mac, then working on the report from home and saving changes on a PC, and vice versa? If I begin a report on one client, finish it on that client, then try to a...

Custom Report "file does not exist"

Hello, After the maintenance release in the past few days, my custom reports will run a query ("browse query"), but will not load when I ask to start or edit the report. I am directed to PC...11.5 folder, which does not have my reports. If I try to exit the search and leave the custom reports "print...

Re: Change Font Size on Directory Report

My mistake on the Word file issue. Mac was merely "blocking" the file, so I opened it accordingly from the task bar and saved the doc. (You are not crazy!) :) My report now has larger fonts and is ready to print.
Thanks again!

Change Font Size on Directory Report

Hello, I searched this forum and found that one can change the font sizes on reports by exporting them as .doc files and making changes there. However, I use a MAC which does not recognize Powerchurch's "Windows Doc" export files, though I do have Mac Windows Word and Excel on my computer. Do you ha...

Help printing with PDF printer in Custom Reports

Hello, I created a custom report in the record keeping module. I am trying to print the report in landscape, but nothing seems to work, though I have set all printer parameters, etc., to "landscape." I installed a PDF printer to try to save the docs to PDF format to print. However, the PDF printer s...

Custom Name Tags

Hello, We intend to try to create name badges that are formatted like the attendance name tag report offered in Powerchurch; however, we would like the name badges to print out the family envelope number that corresponds to each name. Because we do not have automated check-in, we use envelope number...
