Merge Accounting Funds - Final Configuration
I'm trying to understand precisely how PowerChurch reconfigures the files following a Merge Accounting Funds command. We have a General Fund-01 and a Building Program Fund-02. We want to start using the 01 fund and move away from the 02 fund. If we execute the Merge Accounting Funds command to merge...

Re: Background Report

When you select the button on the personal profile screen for an individual that has not...

Background Report
When we print the report "Adults with Background Checks" through the PowerChurch Membership/Personal Profiles/Reports - Personal Profiles menu list, what we get is a list of people who have had a request submitted for a background check, not just those who have actually had a background check perfor...

Re: Amounts Shown on 941 Form
The reference posting you gave me corrected the 941 numbers when we made the corrections using the "More Options" adjustments. Thanks again for your timely and very helpful assistance.

Re: Amounts Shown on 941 Form
The ministers do not have federal taxes taken from their salaries by the church. They are filing their own federal taxes and we do not have a state income tax.

Amounts Shown on 941 Form
We have been using PowerChurch Online since January 2014 and are currently trying to complete the quarterly 941 form for the first time from PowerChurch. We have a total of 9 employees, three who are ministers that have not opted to voluntarily have federal taxes taken out. When PowerChurch complete...

Removing Check From Reconciliation List
When we started using PowerChurch Online in January 2014, we entered two checks through the setup assistant that had not cleared the bank as of the end of December 2013 to establish the balance of our accounts as of the first of January 2014. Since then, those two checks have been declared "lost" an...

Re: Mass Emails
Appreciate the quick reply. I apparently had the wrong port number - once I corrected that I did get a successful test on sending emails. Thanks.

Quid Pro Quo Conributions
IRS Pub. 1828 states that a church must provide a written statement to a donor who makes a payment exceeding $75 partly as a contribution and partly for goods or services provided by the organization. What is the best way to differentiate this in the PowerChurch contribution module so that the year ...
