I get this when I try to enter some numbers for our money market account. I don't know if there will be an ramifications for that, and was wondering if someone could tell me. We have our books open back to January 2013, and I'm trying to post in March. What will this screw up? Thanks This sounds li...

Re: Voided Checks
Just a couple of questions and forgive me if they sound too obvious and you've already done all these things: 1. Did the reconciliation reconcile everything to zero? 2. If not, was it the total of the voided checks? 3. Did you clear the voided checks in both the "Deposits and Other Additions" porti...

Voided Checks
I was doing the reconciliation, and the check register matched the ending balance with the bank. However, the balance sheet on Power Church is off by exactly $2,619. I found 3 voided checks that I cleared in the reconciliation screen. The problem is that it the total is not being reflected on the ba...

How to show giving that isn't monetary
We had a lady in the church buy some kitchen utensils, for a funeral we had at the church. She asked me to show it on her tithe, if possible, and I wasn't sure how to put it in the computer for her report at the end of the year. Because, if I put it in through the Contributions module and post it, i...

Re: CONTRIBUTIONS
When I reversed a contribution this way, with the "reverse" button (version 11.5), the system reversed the contribution in the "income" account and the "checking" account but did not remove the contribution info from the individual contribution statement. The only way I found to reverse everything ...

Re: CONTRIBUTIONS
Will I have to mess with anything in accounting since it is just moving from one person to another? The amounts are staying in the same receivable account.

Re: 1099 question
I think I finally figured it out. I was changing the status of the check to 1099, but you have to click account information. Under account information you need to check the box that says print 1099. That will add the vendor to the 1099 report you will need to fill in the actual 1099 form

Re: 1099 question
I've marked people as 1099 but they won't show up on the 1099 report. Any idea how to change that?
