Payroll - W2 Processing
I use "efilemyforms" to process our w2 forms. I get an error or recommendation message on each one questioning the SS and Medicare deductions. Any idea why they are questioning the deduction amounts? I can't seem to attach the screen shot but the message reads: "Box 4 should be 6.2% of Box 3 + Box 7...

Payroll - Allocate Sick Time
I'm new to the allocation of sick time as it just became law in Minnesota that all employees receive sick time. Example - A part-time employee earns two hours of sick time each month. When and how do I allocation that? I've looked at the Time off section of the employee. I was thinking that when the...

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
Well, the treasurer and I agree that it is certainly something this board member could do in his head! It's for sure not worth the money to have a custom report created. I guess I was looking for a confirmation from someone that this is not an option and I appreciate your confirmation of that. This ...

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
Here is what he sent:
"This column works if I subtract 100 from the result to get the % change rather than the % of."
This is after sending the report that included YTD Budget Difference and YTD Budget Percentage.

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
Maybe. His response now is that he wants to see the percent change rather than the percent of.
Is that possible?

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
It does, but he says that's not what he is looking for.
I will have to have him clarify as the treasurer and I are both stumped as to what he is asking for.
I appreciate your help and will reach out if I need anything else.

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
So, YTD Budget Difference and YTD Budget Percent? Doesn't that give me the percent of budget used YTD?
He's looking for YTD Budget Difference divided by YTD Budget

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
We are currently using 5 columns
Current Period
Year to Date
Current Budget
Year to Date Budget
YTD Budget Difference
I showed him the report with YTD Budget Percent but that isn't what he wants. I'll see if I can get more clarification.
I appreciate your help.

Re: Income & Expense Statement Additional Column
On an Income & Expense report they want to see the YTD Budget Difference percentage.
I added the YTD Budget Difference column but that is a dollar amount, and he wants to see dollar amount and percentage.
