Contributions error
We are unable to enter contributions. When we go to Contributions -> Enter Contributions, an error message pops up that says:
Program: opentables
Line: 8
Error: 5
Message: Record is out of range
Then the program closes.

Re: ActiveX on startup
What happens when I choose "yes" is that the program starts. The pop-up occurs every single time we start the program. We have to choose "yes" every time we want to run PowerChurch Plus. I was just mentioning that if we choose "no," the program still runs anyway.
How can we fix this annoying problem?

Re: ActiveX on startup
I tried your suggestion - from all 3 of our computers. The problem is still there. Even if we click "no" to the question "Do you want to allow this app to make changes" the program still starts. Text of pop-up: User Account Control Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? PowerC...

ActiveX on startup
Ever since the last maintenance release (PC Plus Ver. 14), a window pops up as we start the program which says, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" It says PowerChurch Plus Chilkat ActiveX Setup. This has never happened in the past, but now it happens every time on every ...

Sliding objects to the left on a line
In a custom report, I have several fields on one line (Name, DOB, email). They are all set at certain positions on the line. Sometimes the name is short, sometimes long. Is there a way to set an object or control to slide left so it comes right after the data in the first field, rather than at a set...

Re: Groups in a custom directory
Unfortunately, there isn't. You just have to estimate the space needed at the bottom of the page to not split up a family. OK thank you. I've been thinking along the lines of this: at the beginning of the group band, find out how many records are in the family, then pagebreak if more than say 6. I ...

Groups in a custom directory
I have created a custom directory, and people are grouped into families. Family members (detail) are listed line by line under each family (group). I want to keep all family members on the same page, and not have them bridge over two pages. Using "start group on new page when less than..." in the gr...

Funds vs. Donor Restricted Accounts
I'm helping our treasurer set up the accounting module in PowerChurch. We haven't entered anything into the module yet. The PC literature talks a lot about donor restricted funds for things like building and missions. We're used to having separate funds, each with their own income and expense accoun...

I'll try that.Zorak wrote:You can install a free PDF printer, like DoPDF, and print from PowerChurch to a PDF file. Later versions of Word can open and edit PDFs directly.

Re: Saving as Word document
I know that regular reports can be saved in Word format. But I don't see a Word output choice for custom reports. The choices in Output Direction are Printer, Disk file, and Screen. The Disk file option is just a .txt file, with no formatting, plus some of the data is clipped. When I show it on scr...
