Church Directory - won't print some families

Former members have a personal status and mailing status as Former Member, but we have some former members who we still want in the...

Family in db, but not found in search

So, has anyone else had this problem: There is a family in our database who prints out on reports, directories, etc., but if I use the "Find" feature in the Family Member Mailing List portal, it says, "Family Record: NAME was not found" (The NAME meaning the real surname of the family). When I use t...

Re: Large Print Church Directory

Sorry it took me so long to get back in here and see if I had any answers. Ok, that's what I was afraid of - re: hand doing in Word. I already do that without the pics for a few of our members that have Macular Degeneration. I will try the increase on the copier and see if that will satisfy. But, do...

Large Print Church Directory

Hello, I am trying to find out if there is a way to print the directory in large font with large pictures? We have a large elderly population and a few have said they wished the information (including pictures) was larger.
Please advise.
Thank you!

Re: Historical Records

Just as a suggestion if you choose to go with Neil's suggestion. Do not put the shortcut icon for the historical database on the desktop. This will prevent any confusion with which icon to use and entering current data into the historical database. Good suggestion, Tom! I could definitely see that ...

Re: Historical Records

Hi Neil, Thank you for your reply. The Session discussed it and they want all of our records in our church register to be eventually put in PowerChurch. I am currently just working on the members we have now with things like their baptisms, weddings, etc. But, yes, they want to eventually have all ...

Re: Historical Records

I have all of our current members in PC and am ready to start plugging in the historical records from our church's register. I was wondering if anyone has any tips, suggestions, advice before I start, maybe things they wished they would have known or thought of before they started inputting their h...

Re: Import member data to contributions module

Which also gives the explanation that if you have not assigned envelope numbers under each member's Personal Profile, you need to do so. Some advice. If you have a married couple who give a single donation, you would give each of them the same envelope number. However, I have seen couples who each ...

Import member data to contributions module

I have a little experience with PowerChurch, but not a whole lot. We are using version 11.5. In the manual, it says you can export membership data into the Contributions portal, but it doesn't say how. Does anyone know how to do this? Currently, we are not using the Contributions module and it has n...
