I'm probably being OCD but, just to verify, the Balance Sheet will show the balance carried forward, minus debits or payments from the account... correct?

The check was posted in AP and Fund Accounting and I unchecked the date to see if I could find it to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Running Windows 10, PC11.1 - A check was entered and posted but when I started reconciling, it doesn't show. It's in the middle of checks entered so I'm not sure what I did but I assumed (in error) that I hadn't entered it. So, I re-entered it, posted it to Paid Items and then to Transactions but th...

Account Activity

When I run a specific account for 2017, January thru December, I show a current balance of $1695. If I run the same account for January 2016 thru December 2017, I show a balance of $5400. Which is correct? Does Power Church carry account balances forward from one year to the next?

Payroll labeling error

At least 3 times I've neglected to drop the option and click on Manual Check when doing payroll on a couple of employees. I just realized those check stubs aren't printing and those salaries aren't posting. How do I find these transactions and correct the error?

example of deposit in Fund Accounting

a church fundraiser dollars are deposited into the checking account and to be held in the ABC account. Which accounts do I debit and credit in order for the funds to show up in ABC? Can I do that in 2 lines or will I need 4? Sorry, double entry bookkeeping just throws me for a loop...

Thank you, Neil. The system never would let me change the descriptions for some reason. I finally had to create 3 new categories. Kind of a pain but it worked...

Originally I had everybody set up in two categories: Current Employees and Former Employees. Everybody was paid weekly. Then our new Pastor came in, paid bi-weekly and our security person was added who is paid monthly. Like a dummy I set up two new categories, Current Employees II and Current Employ...

Well, it only took me a few seconds to realize what re-index was... I was going to tell you I know all Santa's reindeer...

Your solution didn't work the way it should and reindex didn't either. It won't let me delete either. I have a choice of II, III or Former. Any other ideas?

Okay, one employee is paid monthly, the other bi-weekly. All other employees are paid weekly. All are current employees. So...
