Re: I've been experiencing similar check printing delays in PowerChurch Online, have you checked if your print queue is

I've been experiencing similar check printing delays in PowerChurch Online, have you checked if your print queue is set to print in the background? I don't know precisely what the tech representative from PowerChurch did to resolve the issue when he remoted into my computer. However, he did say the...

Called tech support, and they were able to remote in to my computer and resolve it. Thanks.

Re: PowerChurch as an Accountant/Church membership program

I can't give you a Canadian perspective, but otherwise, I've been pleased with PowerChurch on both fronts as well as for payroll. I use it at two different churches. Both have a "membership" of 300-400, but actual attendance is closer to the 100 you were asking about. Now, if your "person" is not co...

Long Check Printing Delays

The following issue started a few weeks ago when I was still running version 14.4. I updated to version 15 a couple weeks ago and the same issue persists. When preparing to print a check in the Acounts Payable module at the "Select Invoices For Payment" screen, clicking "OK" used to make the Check O...

Withholding exceeds paycheck

What will PowerChurch do when an employee has asked for extra money to be withheld from their monthly check and there is a month when that amount is greater than their gross pay? For example...they work two jobs and on their W4, they have requested that $260/month extra be withheld from federal taxe...

Fiscal Year End Advice Appreciated

I have been using PowerChurch for two churches for about 10 months now, and the fiscal year at one church will end on September 30. The other church's fiscal year ends with the calendar on December 31. I only just recently discovered the reason my Balance Sheet reports have been wrong. When I was se...

Re: Accounts Receivable for Charitable Grant Checks?

I would advise using the Contributions Modul e because I prefer any income of any kind such as donations (deductible, or non-deductible), interest, registration fees, even cash/check refunds, come through the contribution module. I do the same thing except when it comes to bank interest, I just do ...

You may want to send a request to wishlist@powerchurch.com and ask that when you click on the list header for your sort, that the sort will stick for the rest of your session.
Thanks

Re: Printing Issues

As Neil stated, it seems to be a Windows issue, since the option works in PowerChurch depending on what is set as default in the Windows Print Properties/Preferences. I am writing up a bug report about it, but that's my assumption as to what's happening. Pretty much any other piece of software I us...

Re: Sort Order - Modify Unposted Transactions

I have the same question, except under View Posted Transactions. There it does not revert back to reference sort, BUT I would much prefer the default to be sorted by Date so I wouldn't have to change it every single time. I could start entering the date as reference, I suppose, but that would only p...

Re: Payroll Liabilities

I work for two churches in North Carolina. One church requires monthly filing and the other is under the limit and qualifies for quarterly filing.

Re: Payroll Liabilities

1) None of the 941 reports include State withholdings. To answer your questions, yes, I get some of what I need, but not all I need in a single report. 2) Exactly. The report that does show the State withholdings forces me to do the math myself. I see the same five items you mentioned, and then I ha...

Payroll Liabilities

Is there a single report I can run that will show both Federal and State payroll liabilities for the previous month AND include totals for Social Security & Medicare? The 941 Tax Deposit report shows all the Federal items and includes totals for Social Security, Medicare, and Federal Withholding, bu...

Re: Total Income Report

Thanks.

I ended up running an Account Activity report with the range limited to our pass-through accounts, but that obviously doesn't include the regular offering income.

I will take a look at the options you suggested as well when I'm back in the office next week.
