Did you do a backup before doing the reverses? That might make for a cleaner fix.

I've had to reverse reverses. It can get ugly. Be very sure what you're reversing has the correct numbers and date.

Neil may be along to give more in depth advice.

I learned long ago to back up before trying to correct something.
Many times I wish we could have an unmolested chart of accounts to
look at default account lines. The best way to learn PC plus is to use it and
make mistakes.

Doing what you suggested doubled the negative amounts so I had to do the opposite of what you said. The numbers then matched the withholding for January.

Thankfully we haven't had our board meeting so I could redo January's reports.

The number that is off is Medicare tax. Manually calculating the tax I come up with 2.61 tax for the quarter. My reports say 2.64. Just re-read the return and balance due under totals says 295.02 but the tax liability says 295.08.

Not only am I confused, I am befuddled!

Can someone explain? This is the first time I have done the quarterly return with more than just the Pastor's income to report.

Like the subject, my quarterly tax return doesn't match the reports. My reports say $295.08 and the return says 295.02.

Why the discrepancy?

I'm confused!

I did a re-index and no improvement.

I think I had this happen before and don't remember the solution.
