Version 11 Background Pictures
Just upgraded from version 9 to version 11, and it looks very nice! The new background pictures are lovely, as always. In version 9, they were in a file called "background," but I can't find them in version 11. The background folder only has the background called "icons." I tried adding the version ...

If you use "Maintain Offices Served" on the Activities and Skills menu, rather than "Maintain Activities and Skills," or "Maintain List of Attenders," you can enter ending dates. The entries still are visible when you look up Activities and Skills for an individual, but I think you only see the curr...

Once you have entered attendance data for an activity/date, you can edit that data by opening Fast Data Entry and entering that same activity code and date. The program will tell you that data has already been entered, and ask if you want to edit it. If you click on "yes," Fast Data Entry will open,...

Credit balances due to deleted credit memos
We are using PCP9 with WinXP Pro. We use the Accounts Receivable module for our school, but we don't use the rest of the Accounting modules. Back when we were using PCP8, for some reason we would create a credit memo for the entire tuition, then create invoices for each month's tuition payment, and ...

It sounds like you are sending your custom report to the screen so you can view it, then clicking on the print button there. If you close the report once you see it's the way you want it, then redirect the output from screen to printer using the radio buttons at the left of the "Setup for Column Lay...

Looking the report over, I noticed that the contribution amount ranges from $0 to $999,999,999. You didn't mention if you changed these at all; if not, wouldn't the report include ALL members of the selected status that have envelope numbers? Unless you have people contributing $1,000,000,000 or mor...

All of our networked computers run Win XP Pro. Three of them have updated to IE7. Only two display the security risk message when we try to run PowerChurch (ver 9). The one that doesn't display the warning is the one that acts as server for PowerChurch. I'm wondering if there's something in the main...

I hadn't thought of having both names in the household key - what a great idea! We use "Mr. & Mrs. John Lastname" for the mailing name, and "John & Jane" for the salutation. If a person prefers to use a nickname, we use that in the salutation rather than their full first name (Jack & Jane, for examp...
