I have been having the same problem with desktop ver 14. I sent an email to support and received an email on 10/3 saying a bug report was initiated. So far, no change. It's still doing this. It hasn't in the past and I don't know if it started happening after an MR.

Yep, MR 4/16 is installed. That's when the trouble began.

Well, my firewall is completely turned off and Google shows it is allowing access to PowerChurch.

This isn't a showstopper since individual reports can be saved as pdf's and then sent via regular email. But it would be best if it worked properly.
