e-mailing quarterly statements

I'm trying to e-mail the quarterly statements of contribution as a means of checking the data. This system is new to this church and we want to be sure it's all being recorded correctly while at the same time helping people adjust to an electronic means of keeping records at the church. ("We've neve...

Ordering checks?

I'm interested in where people order your checks from? This church has always used hand written checks, and it's taking HOURS to write these out by hand. It's time to move to printing checks in the laser printer. So I'd like to hear about where all you experienced users have found the best prices/qu...

Thank you!

Since the church has a good turn over for these and the price has remained stable for the las 5 years, I think it may be easier to go with the expense model.

Thank you for your input.

Yes. We have them in denominations of $25 and $50 values. When we fall below $300 we purchase more.

Script/Shopping Card Sales

An accounting question. The church sells prepaid cards for the local grocery stores as a fund raiser. It is on going. They buy cards worth $1000 from the store for $950. How do I handle the transactions? There are times when we have $1900 spent on cards. We'll sell them over 2 months. I suspect I ne...

NeilZ, how do you delete? How do you go about moving the order? I've not yet finished the set up. But in the final screen it says I have th option of moving accounts up or down in the lists on each tab. However, they will not move for me. Nor can I edit them. I need to remove some stuff and add othe...

General help

I'm a newbie to PC+. I'm trying to find how the previous bookkeeper entered the checks. There's been no entries since Dec 28 when she closed the 2006 books. I need to enter the new budget, record checks written manually, and run the January reports. Can someone help me figure out how to start?

Newbie to PC 9

Hello, I've just inherited a financial records nightmare in a church. I need help to get acquainted with PC + 9 and the accounting module specifically. Here's my quandary: The previous bookkeeper used 4 different pieces of software. She kept the memorial accounts as individual checkbooks in Quicken....
