Importing Name/Address from Fellowship One
I'm looking for information on importing name/address/phone from Fellowship One to Power Church. Currently, we use PC+ for Fund Accounting and A/P, but we are looking to use Contributions soon.
I assume we need to populate the Membership files in order to use Contributions module. Correct?

Re: AFLAC Deduction Setup, Can't Get Taxes Right
This worked perfectly, Neil. Thanks so much for your expertise. We have two non-ministerial employees who signed up for hospital and accident insurance through AFLAC. These are Section 105 plans. These are employee voluntary deductions, not employer funds. I set up the AFLAC Item Description for the...

Re: AFLAC Deduction Setup, Can't Get Taxes Right
Thank you, Neil. I will change that to Pre-Tax and check it against my spreadsheet tomorrow. Fortunately, the plans EEs chose are AFLAC Cafeteria Section 125 (not 105--sorry 'bout that) plans, whereas AFLAC Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance are not. Glad none of them opted for a "mixed-bag" o...

Re: Online Contributions
Hi, Dave I've seen the suggestion that Neil recommends. I prefer to add all the deductions at the end of the month and enter a "Bank Fees" transaction for that amount. This is probably because the online giving vendor used to charge us monthly, so I was used to doing it that way. When they changed t...

I set up the AFLAC Item Description for the deduction as: Type: Other Deduction Tax Options: More Options T...

Re: Setting up 403b EE Non-Minister Contribution
Neil and Zorak, I found the option to "turn off" Advanced Accounting mode, but I'm hesitant to do so until I know what else it affects. Back to the original question, I *think* the Item Description setup as displayed above is correct BECAUSE it is set up just like the Federal Tax withholding, which ...

I don't know what I "should" be seeing, but that's what the screen says.
I would attach a photo if I knew how.

Re: Actual expense details and total year budget
If you really need them on one sheet, you could save them as Excel sheets and cut and paste into one document.

Setting up 403b EE Non-Minister Contribution
Could use help setting up the Item Description for a non-minister employee (non-matched) contribution to the church's 403b plan. I get that I choose "Other Deduction" and choose "Retirement" for the Tax Option since it is non-ministerial and therefore subject to FICA but not Fed tax. I'm a little lo...
