Looks like what is happening is that the void is not showing up as a void, but as an additional check in posted transactions, but is showing up as a void in payroll.

All posted transactions are cleared, but still can't balance by the amount of the check. Any other suggestions?

I voided a payroll check in payroll that had vacation pay on it. Reissued check to reflect corrections. (Check also had wrong number on it) Posted everything. Thanks for all your help in resolving my dilemma. I actually deleted all of the info I had already entered (that the program would let me enter) and then restarted pc+. I was able to enter everything. Everything seems to be working fine now.
