You'll just need to enter an adjusting entry to get the balance in there. It would be a debit to the savings account and a credit to the Unrestricted Net Assets account (this should be account number 3110).

Installing the latest maintenance release for version 9 and then reindexing your data files will correct the issue. This was a problem in one of the earlier releases of version 9. The maintenance release can be downloaded at www.powerchurch.com/mr .

I'm assuming you're on version 9. You're right, the accounts are no longer listed in fund order, this is by design. But you are able to sort them by description and search by name. So if you know the name of the account you are looking for, click on the Description header to sort by name, then type ...

Unfortunately, we cannot convert any accounting information. The only infomation we convert is Membership and, if possible, Contributions. The cost for Membership conversion is $200, and cost for Contributions would depend on what it is we are converting from, but usually $50 - $150.

If you're in a version prior to 9, in the custom report, you would just have to type in the dates you want to include. You wouldn't be able to pull these dates from a field. Just add in a text box and type the date there. These dates would have to be changed each time you ran the report.

There is an option when running the Pictorial Directory to only include families/profiles with pictures. This option is checked by default. If you don't have any pictures, make sure you uncheck that option. If you do have pictures, make sure you are running the report in the right area (under Family...

This issue has been fixed in a maintenance release. Make sure you're on the latest program date (09/29/04 for version 9). Once the latest maintenance release is installed, reindexing the data files will fix the issue.
