Accounts Payable Aging Report
Is it possible to get a summary A/P Aging report? The "Open/unposted Items" report serves its purpose of detailing every invoice that has been entered, but not yet paid. However, management does not want to see details, they want to see summaries. Every other accounting software I've used has always...

Vendor names changing
I noticed something really odd today in PC+10. I had a vendor ID set up as WINCOM (Windstream Communications) for our phones since July 2007. Today, when I went to post an invoice to WINCOM it said the vendor didn't exist! So, I went into maintain vendors and, sure enough, it wasn't in the list. Jus...

Deductions from paycheck
We pay our pastor as contract labor, with no taxes held out (1099 at the end of the year). As a convenience for him, we deduct his tithe & offering out of each check. How can I enter that in PC+ to properly record everything? The only way I've thought to do it so far is post the check as the gross a...

Multiple checking accounts
I only use two funds: 01 for the church and 02 for the school (actually the school is expected to go live 1/1/08 ). Right now, I have acct# 1110-000 as the church's general checking account and #1120-000 for our flag team checking account and #1130-000 for our reserved offerings (I actually transfer...

Debits/Credits Out of Balance
Our pastor has us hold his tithe out of his check, so we credit cash (for the amount of the check), debit payroll (for his gross pay) and credit general fund income (for his tithe). However, when I click Save PowerChurch gives me this warning: Warning: Debits/Credits are out of balance with invoice ...

Later Transactions
I don't think you understand what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about old transactions, I know all old transactions will show in a bank reconciliation. I'm talking about transactions after the statement date, and they are effecting the reconciling balance.

Bank Reconciliation transactions
When trying to reconcile my checking account I entered the statement date as 10/12/07 (the statement date) and the balance according to the bank statement. However, when it went to the screen where it lists the transactions and the balances it's trying to reconcile to it is showing outstanding check...

No transaction detail line found.
I have entered an invoice & posted it. Then I printed a computer generated check to pay that invoice & posted it. However, when I went to Accounting -> Fund Accounting -> Post Transactions the report came up saying that invoice couldn't post because "No transaction detail line found.". When I went t...

New User Profiles?
I see what my problem was! I said I was the administrator because I have full access, but I wasn't logging in as the system administrator... doh! Thanks a lot!

Setting up new users
I am the administrator of Power Church, we just installed it recently. I need to set up additional users with their own passwords and rights, but can't seem to find where that is. I've seen others mention a section of the software it's in, but when I go there I don't see what they are refering to. C...
