Re: Contribution Dates Typoed
Thanks! That took care of the issue. I found that most of the mis-dated contributions had been re-entered already, but a few had not, so I took care of those few. Then I utilized "Delete Old Data" and now the System Status report looks neat and tidy, plus the contribution module data is corrected. I...

Contribution Dates Typoed
I just ran a Contributions System Status report, and saw the Lowest Posted Contribution Date was 03-24-0220. I'm very sure the clerk meant to type in 2002 instead of 0220, and wasn't time-traveling, lol. I joined the church staff in 2007, so no, this particular mistake isn't mine to claim. Is there ...

Re: Error & Reindexing Problem
Update: the problem is worsening. This error is appearing more often, and the PowerChurch software shuts down abruptly after it appears.

Error & Reindexing Problem
For the past day or so, every time I exited PowerChurch I would see an error message about a file PCUINFO.FPT being missing or invalid. I tried reindexing all files to see if that would fix the problem, but when I try to reindex everything I see the error message: -----------------------------------...

Yes, I did, as soon as it was available.
(Forgot to say I'm running PowerChurch 10.4, maintenance release 05/11/09.)

Error 2061
Whenever I run a report, the following pops up (clicking OK makes it go away, but I don't understand what's causing it to occur):
Error: 2061
Method: checkpapersize
Line: 5083
Message: Index or expression does not match an existing member of the collection
Reindexing did not fix this error.

What we usually do to try to prevent such 'notes' is put a notice in the December church newsletter, and in the final three Sunday church bulletins (nod) Announcements were made, but apparently were missed by this one contributor. I can gently explain IRS regulations to her if she calls with questi...

Disclaimer: I'm not a CPA That out of the way... an individual's tax year is on a calendar basis, from January - December. They don't have a fiscal year, as your church does. For 2007, people can deduct what they've given to the church from January 1 through December 31. You would generate a giving ...
