I am an old friend and get bored every now and then and decide to pop in have you tried mounting any drives for your install? Once you have that drive visible in your linux filesystem (at, say, /mnt/powerchurch or any folder) you can map that directory to a drive in CrossOver by editing the CrossOv...

If you void a contribution through the method described above it will take care of the contributions side as well as fund accounting if you post it in the same way. if the negative contribution matches a positive one (same date, same fund, same env#, same check # if applicable) then it will not show...

A few things to consider. It is recommended to not use the CD's with any other burning program. If you make backups with PowerChurch then use just that CD. Don't format the CD. Sometimes program like adaptec/roxio direct CD will try and format the CD as soon as you put the disc in the computer, don'...

If you are using windows XP there was a problem exporting files at one point. When you export the file choose C:\ as the destination, not inside any folders just right on the C drive. if that works you may need to get the newest update from www.powerchurch.com/mr

The transaction(s) that you have unposted, could you please list all the debit and credit accounts you are using for each transaction? It sounds like one of those transactions might be trying to use the Excess Income and Expense Account, which is not an account you can post to. Also go to File-Prefe...

The database size is certainly not a limitation, you could certainly leave them, at least for a year or 2 and then either delete them or their envelope number. Restoring a backup is going to be the best solution. If you are just trying to run a statement for them, you could install another version o...

Re: Completed database file list
Also, based on other entries, it looks like the 8.5 install on the new computer, then copying the files from the old system onto the new system is the correct approach. Is that right? that is correct. There is no published list of files. If you copy the files over like above, then go into the progr...

Also, was I incorrect in using the payroll module for self-employed ministers? when someone gets a 1099 they are considered like a vendor, and thats the reason for it being in Accounts Payable. You don't deduct taxes or give W2's for them so there is really no reason to consider them a Payrol emplo...
