Re: Bulk eMail error Message 450

Regarding copying all the addresses into the BCC, that's one email being sent, so I would expect that to always work. As for the "Too many messages" errors, I can't see it being anything other than what it is, the email provider has sending limits on the server (or at least for SMTP access) that is ...

Re: Bulk eMail error Message 450

My last post suggested tinkering with the advanced sending options that you see when clicking the ellipsis button, trying more emails per connect and fewer. It's clear you're still having the issue, but not clear what you have tried and with what result since that last post. There is another tool av...

Re: Contributor Mailing Lists

Verify the Amounts from and to fields on the Selection Criteria screen.

It defaults to: Amounts from 0.01 to 9999999.99, which would be anyone who gave anything during that period.

If that Amounts from field were to be set to 0.00, it would include all contributors.

Re: Funds Transfer

Transferring money from one bank account to another isn't really income. That money was likely recorded as income already at some point when it was originally deposited, so it wouldn't be accurate to record it as income a second time.

Re: Accepting Venmo

I would expect that a Venmo account would be set up just like the PayPal account. From my understanding, they are essentially the same thing.

Re: Reuse of Envelope Number

You can use the Merge Duplicate Profiles utility to merge those duplicate records together. It will keep all their giving history from both profiles/envelopes.

To do this, go to Membership > Personal Profiles > Setup and choose Merge Duplicate Profiles

Re: Email Error

On the email setup screen, uncheck the "Validate certificates" option and if that is the cause of the failure, the emails should go through without issue. Unfortunately, when there is a certificate problem somewhere in the sending chain, it's not something that can be resolved on your end or ours (s...

We have an exclusive partnership with Vanco Payment Solutions, so there won't be a direct integration with other payment processors, at least in the foreseeable future.

Re: transfer funds - how to reflect expenses

In theory, you could have used the Expense accounts in that transaction instead of the Transfer accounts. It would serve the same purpose and take care of it all at once. To move only the expenses, the transaction would look something like this: 02-5500-000 Expense DR 02-3110-000 Unrestricted Equity...

Re: Directory to Excel

You can export data by going to Membership > Personal Profiles > Other Output. Choose Export Data.

The same menu option is available in Family Mailing List, but that would just be one record per household instead of one per person.

Re: Check can't print properly on amounts over $1,000,000

I apologize that I missed your original reply.

Version 11.5/11.55 will not print a million dollar check. The check printing process was improved in Version 12 to support check amounts that large.

Re: New profiles list

The registered date on the family would be available in Custom Reports in Personal Profiles, but not any other reports or processes I can think of in Personal Profiles.

Re: Incomplete Report was generated

Another common thing that will keep people from showing up in reports is the "Include in Membership Module Reports" checkbox option on the family record. Verify that this option is checked on the Integrated Data Entry screen. It is found on the Contact tab along the right side of the form.

Re: Deleting a day

The Delete Old Data utility works purely on the Contribution Date that was entered, so if you delete from 6/27/2021 to 6/27/2021, it will delete all the entries for that date, regardless of when you entered them.

Re: Check can't print properly on amounts over $1,000,000

What version of PowerChurch are you using? I just ran a test in Version 12.2 and it printed an AP check of over a million without issue.

If you Version 12.2 and are using a custom check layout, the problem may be with the formatting of the check amount field.
