Re: Personal Licensing of PC
My church uses PowerChurch & I continue to maintain their database; they have chosen to use only the Membership Module after I was no longer their Treasurer. I have a very high respect for this software and the support team that maintains it. I was wondering if it was acceptable to purchase a licen...

Re: Cannot Locate Server
You were correct on the firewall .... I missed a step. I disabled it on the client side, but not the server. I have connectivity. Thanks Neil!

Cannot Locate Server
I am attempting to set-up Check-In and when I run PCkiosk from the client laptop I cannot find the Server when prompted. Permissions have been set up between the Server & the laptop as well as a mapped drive established. Does someone have a screen-clip of what the path should look like or offer anot...

Thank You for Your Great Support
Effective 01-Sep-2013 I will be relinquishing my responsibilities as the Treasurer of NsFCC (New Sharon First Christian Church). I want to thank everyone that has helped me along the way for their tremendous support. As you recall I was able, with the tools that POWERchurch software provided me, to ...

Re: Posting a Credit Across Funds
Thank you Matt - The Fund (02) checking account# is 02-1120-000 and the Fund (01) checking account is 01-1110-000. Will the transaction that you mentioned work here, or do I need to create a transfer transaction to accomplish that task? I transferred the funds through electronic banking this morning.

Posting a Credit Across Funds
I have a credit to post as part of my bank credit card payment. This problem is that the original charge was made in Fund (02) and the rest of the the credit card payment hit accounts in Fund (01). Attached is a transaction that posts the credit back to Fund (02) and even though it crosses funds, do...

Re: Withholding Tables Setup
As a follow-up question I am wondering why I see withholding that exceeds the amount listed in the Iowa Withholding Tax Guide when I use 6 allowances. It seems to me that if anything the amount withheld should be the same, which would be consistent with the tax guide. For the amount of this employee...

Re: Withholding Tables Setup
Thank you Neil - I have the correct set-ups, I guess that in the State of Iowa, regardless of the amount of allowances claimed that there are only two tax table options which you have already noted. '2 or more' doesn't change one iota from 2 exemptions to infinity. It is good to know that I had not ...

Re: Withholding Tables Setup
I have the same issue in IOWA. Our new pastor has requested an Iowa State W-4 in order to reduce his IA State income tax withholding. He is claiming multiple allowances, but I cannot find anywhere in the STATE Tax Table set-ups to enter that information.

Re: Releasing Temporarily Restricted Funds
Thank you so much Matt. I appreciate you're help with this. I may have been a very long time trying to figure this out on my own. We only have three of these donor restrictions and only transact against them once in a blue moon. This was a valuable lesson learned. I will be more conscious of my setu...

Releasing Temporarily Restricted Funds
I have $1,300.00 showing on my (01) General Fund balance sheet 3251-101 account TEMPORARILY RESTRICTED 'YM Restricted Funds'. I have written a check in the amount of $300.00 and applied it to an expense that was set up as part of the setup for creating the YM Temporarily Restricted Fund. However, wh...
