2:20pm - no resolution yet. This was an unplanned outage, so we're waiting to hear back.

Today, a little before 1pm Eastern, PowerChurch Online experienced an outage. This seems to be a connectivity issue at the data center, and there is an engineer on site right now. We're waiting on word back on a resolution, but the engineer said it should just be a matter of minutes.

You're running 12.04, which is the only officially supported version of Ubuntu, so that's probably not the issue. Running the IDS client in an XP VM is just fine too.
