Unable to write to PCUINFO
I have PowerChurch Plus 10 installed on a READYNAS DUO network drive at my church. I often work at home and backup certain data files from my MyBook World network drive to a flash drive and restore them to the ReadyNAS drive. I discovered early on that some of the files caused problems when trying t...

Re: Notes Field
My apologies. Apparently I have a security with my NAS server. I copied the install to a local drive and installed the latest update pt PChurch Plus 10.4 and recopied the updated system files to the server and NAS server and the report displayed the notes field properly.

Re: Report birthdays for a given month
Marvelous, apparently I had the date components in the wrong order and had to handle the nulls. Thanks for your help.

Re: Report birthdays for a given month
Thanks, I stated that very poorly. I had created a new date field that can be sorted and copied the birthdays to that field to include in reports. I was trying to use the update command to set the year to a fixed value like 1900 so that birthdays would sort in the proper order. The problem is that u...

Re: Error:111 when I try to log in
Thanks for your reply. Is this something in PCPlus10 or perhaps with the ReadyNASDuo share? I am using the same login on both wired and wireless platforms. I also tried logging in as administrator and got the same result. I had successfully logged in on one of the wireless systems before. I recently...

Re: Report birthdays for a given month
Thanks,
This gets me out of the woods. I would still like to know the SQL syntax so that I could include birthday/month in a larger report if possible.

Report birthdays for a given month
I am using PCPlus 10.4 on WIndows XP. I am trying to find a way to report birthdays without considering the year. I have tried a number of SQL statements but I either get a null date returned or a type mismatch error. I did this years ago in MS Access by creating a SQL text string and executing it b...

Error:111 when I try to log in
I currently have PowerChurch Plus 10.4 installed on a Netgear NAS Duo drive. The maintenance release was installed by copying the updated files to the drive. There are currently four Windows XP PCs connected to the server to access PChurch Plus. Two are hardwired ethernet and the can access the share...

Sort by memory variable
I am trying to sort birthdays where the year has been truncated. The memory variable is as follows:
m.short_Bday = SUBSTR(DTOC(born),1,5)
Is it possible to sort by this variable?
Thanks,
Carl

Custom reports not searchable
The FIND command seems to be disabled in custom reports. Is there a way to make them searchable?
