Adding an event for the calendar works fine. However, when trying to add a location for that event, nothing is recorded. Does anybody know how to make this work?
Thx,
Bill

Re: Partial contribution to 2009
Hi Neal, Thanks for the answers. The problem that remains for us is that the contributions for that Sunday have already been posted to accounting. The accounting posting has not occurred yet (we do that at the end of the month). So, we don't see how to change the $300 check into a $200 contribution ...

Didn't work; something else must be wrong
Hi Neil, Thanks for the quick answer. There must be something else wrong with my setup. I have an item description named FED WH SINGLE. It had a default tax table of FEDERAL SINGLE. When I opened Maintain Employee Pay Items, it had calculated a withholding of $14.80. I went back to Maintain Item Des...

Overriding Tax Tables
I am trying to enter some payrolls for February where the tax tables for federal and state that I have entered are not generating the exact WH amounts that were withheld from the paychecks. I have tried every tax table I can find, all to no avail. What I want to do is just override the PowerChurch t...

Confused by your answer
If the exact same overall result had been achieved in a different way, would your answer be different? Let's say the following occurred: - the individual gives me a $20 check, with instructions to put it into the Memorial Fund. I enter this through the Contributions module as a donation. - the next ...

Great Stuff -- THX!
Thanks Eden for your answers! I am with you on the inability to remember anything that's not written down :-) I have a couple more questions. - Eden, any chance you would be willing to send me your checklists? I would GREATLY appreciate having them, if you are willing (if not, I completely understan...

Non-cash contribution (I think)
We have a church member who used his own money to buy some items for a plaque that memorializes some people. He then came to me and said that he wanted to donate the amount to the Memorial Fund (a restricted fund), and gave me the receipt (for the purposes of this, let's call it $20). Obviously, I c...

My question is not about double-entry bookkeeping
Sorry, maybe I was not clear enough about what I need help with (it also may be that there is no good answer except BE CAREFUL). I have a reasonable familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping, so I am not asking about that, exactly. However, I am VERY capable of making mistakes. I really have 2 quest...

How to verify before posting
I am new to PowerChurch as of 1/1/2009. I entered all our transactions for January, and once I thought I had it right, posted all transactions. Then, trying to do the bank reconciliation proved that MANY corrections were needed. I had so many correcting entries to make that there were more correctio...
