Web registration for Religious Education, interface?
Has anyone developed an example of using a web site to capture information for Religious Education classes that can be imported into PowerChurch? Both for kids at Sunday school and adults? With appropriate security in place? We have had a big issue where some of our staff want to use a nice web fron...

Re: Automatic login, perhaps using command line options?
Pros & cons understood. As we have grown beyond a few PCs to 10, and we consult with other churches on setting up similar environments, it becomes a necessity to have some common login (AAA) management. Just wondered if the hooks were there to use a PDC. My alternative is to have people use a tool s...

Transition of PC+ demo data to "Production" PC+ ve
We have the PC+ demo CD (thank you, PC Software!) and have imported some user data including contributions for evaluation. Much to my surprise, before getting to a meeting on the state of the PC+ evaluation there are dozens of Events entered! Assuming we purchase PC+ within the next couple of weeks,...

another vote for a place to include total attendance
Several of the other Church management Software (ChMS) packages we've investigated included a way to enter attendance totals to any event, even if not tracking individual attendance at the event, including Sunday services. We found that a wonderful feature to integrate with the ChMS and have the abi...

Maximum envelope number
Just entering data into the trial version, hit a snag. Do I see that envelope numbers must be no more than 5 decimal digit integers? In our prior package, member numbers were a 6 digit number, 4 digit whole number plus 2 digit fraction for the family individual number. This member number is the iden...

sharing report structures and how created instead of libs?
Would it be valuable to share HOW you created your report, as much step by step as possible, instead of libraries? That way each of us would learn in recreating the report. Much as the PC+ tutorial on reports steps one through. I know, this is more of a load on the author. but it does avoid the secu...

Concern over future of FoxPro, what is PowerChurch doing?
We had tremendous problems with another Church Management System (ChMS) package that was based on FoxPro, to the point where the vendor just gave up and said it was "Microsoft FoxPro problems" not theirs! Sure enough, eventually getting the right fix from Microsoft did fix our problems. Now that we ...
