Re: Locating New Contributors
Have you looked at the First Time Contributors report under Contributions ?? I have now. It's limitation is that it doesn't allow me to specify first time contributor to a particular fund. If a person has made any previous recorded contribtuion, they won't show up on the report. I'm looking for fol...

Locating New Contributors
A couple years ago we conducted a capital campaign. At a certain point we sent a thank you gift to all those that contributed. The campaign is on-going and we have new contributors. I would like to send a thank you gift only to the new contributors. How can I figure out just who those folks are usin...

Re: Contribution types and bank deposits
This would require yet another setup screen in the program, where it asks which of your custom contribution types should be treated as cash and which types to treat as checks. I was thinking it could be part of the same screen with the dates. There are several report screens that ask for multiple t...

Re: Contribution types and bank deposits
That's not a mistake, it's an easter egg in the manual  It's in the Version 10 manual, too. While we can't fix the printed ones, the help file will be updated via Maintenance Release to remove those few extra words :wall: How about fixing the report to match the description in the help file a...

Contribution types and bank deposits
My bank deposit slip requests separate totals for coin, currency, and checks. I added a contribution type for Coin, use Cash for currency and Check for checks. The following text from the Help file says I should be asked which types of contributions I want reported on the Bank Deposit Slip, Unposted...

Re: Ver. 11 PROCESSING PAYROLL
I am having the same issue. I was trying to issue some Length of Service bonuses and finally figured out I could uncheck each item individually. Not what I have come to expect from PC+ On the bright side, it did force a manual check when the unsuppressed 'supressed' deductions amounted to a withdraw...

Re: Direct Deposit - split funds between accounts?
VANCO is not the problem here. I do the manual entry on multiple accounts regularly. I was hoping to have a way to have PC+ create a file that will do the same thing or find another work around. Apparently PC+ does not provide an alternative workaround at this time.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Direct Deposit - split funds between accounts?
Spending some time working with direct deposit setup this morning. Wondering if it is possible to have payroll split between multiple accounts. Only one set of routing/account numbers is provided in the payroll setup forms. Any work-arounds?

Pledge Reminder Report
I would like to be able to send out reminders to those who requested them when they made a pledge to our capital campaign. Is there a report that we could use that would let folks know they have a pledge scheduled to be fulfilled in the next month? I want to be able to send the reminder by regular p...

Re: Checks per year and VOIDing a payroll check
Looks like things came out right. Managed to get the check printed and everything seems to line up. Wound up with two paychecks for the employee in question in the end and had to void one of them. Not sure where I got waylaid, but got everything to work. Thinking that I must have been looking at rep...

Re: Checks per year and VOIDing a payroll check
Did you void the check in Payroll or Accounts Payable? The Fund Accounting 'View Posted Transactions' function shows that it was done in the PR (PayRoll) Journal. Did you reissue the check in Payroll or Accounts Payable? FA also shows that a new payroll check was issued with a different check numbe...

Checks per year and VOIDing a payroll check
I was making out payroll for the month and was surprised to discover that one of my 10 month employees was getting a check while the other was not. Looking back it appears that the employee not getting a check this month had an earlier paycheck voided and reissued. Has anyone else run into this or d...
