Zorak---PS

If I update offline and upload, what happens to any entries made during the transition? Is there any way of saving those entries?

Re: Database Manager

Zorak

We have I think on cd Version 11. If I clean up my database offline using vers 11, will I be able to upload the cleaned up copy to the online vers, or do we need the latest version offline to do the cleanup?

Database Manager

When we had the offline version, we had access to a limited version of the Database Mgr. Now that we have the online version we have no access to the Database Mgr. We used to be able to clean up our database using the DB Mgr. Are there any plans to allow this access on the online version?

Re: Chart of accts-rearranging

Thank you for your responses---basically it confirms what I already knew---I was hoping against hope that there was a quicker easier way of rearranging the database.

Chart of accts-rearranging

Is there an easier way of rearranging the chart of accts without doing a full accountng restart? Is moving the individual accts and then deleting the only way of rearranging the existing database accts?

Re: Deferring donations or pledges to next /previous year

The question came up in a budget discussion. We are aware of the donor's tax issue. We were wondering if for internal church budgeting it was possible in PC+ to somehow defer the income to the next year. We have used the "restricted funds" feature to identify and separate part of the donation to be ...

Re: Deferring donations or pledges to next /previous year

Yes--the answer to your question. I am concerned about the Accounting Module, and if it is possible to defer income from one year to the next for budgeting purposes. :D

Deferring donations or pledges to next /previous year

Is it possible and if so, What is the easiest way to move pledges and other contributions so that they show as income in the next/ previous years? We would like to defer the income for a large contribution made in 2012 forward to 2013. And also revert some late pledge payment made in 2013 back to 20...

Re: Payroll Processing

Correction--the payroll being more recently processed was the Jan 2012 payroll-not 2011 as I stated above. :wall:

Payroll Processing

We are using version 11.5-the on line version. Recently we had to void some payroll checks from last year-2011, and re-process new ones with the correct payroll taxes information for the w-2's for 2011. As I understand it , when you "process payroll" the system defaults to the last date entered. The...

Re: Ver 11--How do I enter and print a single payroll check

Before vers 11, we were using version 9. In that version we had the option to enter a manual payroll check and either print it or not. We are a small church, so we normally used that feature to pay our employees one at a time, because we found that feature simpler than printing a batch of checks, wh...
