Donation of Stock to your Church. What entries are made to reflect the gift value on date of donation, and what entry is made to reflect the sales value of the stock three days later? Which value would be put into the pledge and contributions? Thanks for the help.

Our church is doing a Capital Campaign, the fund raiser has keep track of everything on Microsoft Access software. Will any of this information be able to be merged with PC. or will have have to reenter all the pledges in PC as well as payments?

At year end should all the amounts in income and expense accounts zero out? The bank does all the work, once a month around the 3-4 they do the posting from their end, send us a statement, and we just put the EFT into contributions. It is really easy.
