I have three check-in stations. 2 running xp and one running windows 7. The XP stations run in self-serve mode and the 7 runs in manned mode. The labels that print from the windows 7 machine have "click to enter text" showing up in the allergies section. I don't know if it is related, but the photos...

Check-in Wishlist

We rolled out the check-in system for our elementary students this week. Thought I should share my suggestions for developers to improve on what I think is a solid first whack at check-in 1. Self serve mode should start full screen by default. As it is now I have to log-in as an admin, maximize the ...

Customizing Labels

I'd like to customize the labels. I created a new label. Opened the resulting .lwl file in the dymo software (version 8.2), but when I went to save it the only option was to save it as a .label file. Apparently the .lwl was from previous versions of the software.

Is there a work around for this?

Re: The most ridiculous info missing from profiles

This I don't understand, are you saying that they are not in the same Sunday School grade as the class they take ?? We group some grades together. For example, kinder & 1st grade attend the same class. So I have an activity called k/1. THe recent graduation changes help a little, but lets say I wan...

Re: The most ridiculous info missing from profiles

There are 10 user defined code fields for profiles. You can easily use one of these fields to record a persons current grade. One thing we have seen people do is track the graduation year. By doing this there is nothing to update when the next school year starts. That is actually a very helpful sug...

Re: The most ridiculous info missing from profiles

I have to disagree on the "easier" part. Other programs offer a graduation automation as well, and allows you to track this information in the student's profile. I am not sure how grade fits into a skill or activity. It makes training people to use the database that much more difficult. The other pr...

The most ridiculous info missing from profiles

I can't understand why "grade" is not a field in profiles. This seems like a basic piece of information for any database working with kids. I see that PCP has kind of used skills for grades, but that requires one more step, one more skill entered, plus...lets face it...it is confusing having skills ...

Attendance wish list

Other Church management software I have used have allowed me to put a number of visitors on the attendance entry screen. This would be very helpful as we don't always get addresses and other information from people who only attend one or two times. Here is how that should work in PCP. At the bottom ...

Tracking Attendance over 2 services

We have one list of kids who have the option of attending class 1st or 2nd service. They are not consistent, so I don't want to set up a 2nd activity for the second service, but I do want to know which service kids attend. Is there a custom attendance code (ie 1, or 2 instead of P for present?) How ...
