Re: Delete accounting fund
Great, thanks! I didn't know a whole fund could be made inactive. That will do what I wanted, which is to avoid having to always enter beginning and ending fund numbers for reports since we only have one fund we're using. Big help. Thanks again.

Delete accounting fund
We need to delete a whole fund of GL accounts because the ministry that fund was created for is long gone and will not be restarted. The cash was transferred and the balance sheet shows zero dollars. I have deleted all the accounts that were never used in that fund, but there are about 15 left that ...

Payroll sick and vacation time
Plus Ver 14.4 - As of November, payroll printed zero for the employee sick time or vacation time for the current month on the pay stubs (earned and used). We didn't change our procedures, and the sick time or vacation time for the month were entered before running payroll, as usual. The accumulated ...

Re: Runtime installation
NeilZ - Thanks for the answer. We don't have a User Guide, but it got me looking and I found a PC 12+ paper manual on the shelf here. There is indeed a section on Network Installation and it's clear on what I need to do to get the runtime software on the "client". This leads me to a related question...

Re: Fund Accounting Transfers
Thanks for the reply. I didn't see it. I thought I had the Notify checkbox checked but must not have. Anyway, I already had the transfer accounts marked inactive, but like you said that doesn't prevent the Transfer section heading lines from showing on the I/E report. This indeed seems like a bug. I...

Runtime installation
We have PC 12.2+ on one Windows 10 computer (functioning as a server for this purpose). The other Windows 10 computers on the network run PC by having "PowerChurch Plus 12 Runtime Files" and "PowerChurch Plus 12 Chilkat ActiveX 9.5.0.52" installed (showing in Control Panel, Programs and Features). T...

Fund Accounting Transfers
We currently only use one accounting fund and haven't done transfer entries between funds for many years. We would like the Income and Expense Statement to no longer show a Transfer section since we don't have transfers and it creates an extra page at the end of the report. Is there a way to get rid...

Dec 2020 941 problem
We just got an IRS notice saying "Your tax liability schedule for the quarter ending December 31, 2020 (Form 941) was not submitted or completed correctly." Of course the notice doesn't say what the problem was. We simply print and sign Form 941 from PowerChurch and mail it in. I wonder if others go...

Year end closing
Is there a calendar year-end closing procedure in the Contributions module? If so, and if one chooses it, what are the ramifications, good or bad?

Re: Report subtotaling problem
Never mind. It's all working fine now, as it should. I'll answer my own question. This is a new fiscal year for us and there was very little posted yet. The budget figures were also not yet posted. So, apparently until you post some expenses and/or budget figures in accounts in each group, the group...

Report subtotaling problem
I have just revamped the GL expense account structure, using the appropriate levels to get the desired report subtotals. However on the Income and Expense statement I get the result as shown below. I'm only getting a subtotal for the first GROUP3 and GROUP2 and after that no subtotals at all. What's...

Re: Year-end closing
Interesting. Yes, your answers have helped. I appreciate the historical background you have on this software. And it's good to know the software authors have listened to the users over the years. Out of curiosity, is there an established way for users to submit requests for changes?
