Re: OUR WORST NIGHTMARE
Thank you to Zorak and the PowerChurch team! When I opened my email this morning, they had already sent me the link to the installer file that I needed. I am downloading it for backup. After looking through the knowledge base, I was able to copy my program files and data from a backup to another com...

OUR WORST NIGHTMARE
In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 22 a fire began in our church building. Fourteen local fire companies were called in. By 10:00am, our usual worship time, nearly 1/2 million gallons of water had been poured onto the smoldering pile of wood and brick that had once been our worship space. ht...

Contributions attached to wrong pledge
I have caught myself several times nearly doing this. It only happens when I use the "View Pledges" button in the Contributions data entry screen. The problem is that the highlight defaults to the top pledge on the list that pops up. If that pledge is for the current year, no problem. But, if there ...

Bob, Your problem sounds similar to the one posted in this thread: http://powerchurch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=682 I have contacted the company that wrote the printer drivers for our network printer that was doing this. They seemed unaware that "Unicode" could be the issue. However, they did offer ...

I've been using Symantec PCAnywhere for about 4 years. This has worked great for us and with no ongoing fees. It's a direct computer to computer connection via phone lines. Our computer at the church is not continuously connected to the internet (nor do we want it to be) and shares a dial-up line wi...

exporting reports
Thanks Jeff, Your reply was thorough and very informative and addresses exactly what I suspected. This is unfortunate, as I'm sure many PC+ customers, like us, currently cannot afford to upgrade our machines to XP and every new software something that comes along. It appears that this 3rd party repo...

exporting reports
I don’t think the problem is with text boxes. When I use Word2000 to open a .DOC file exported from Crystal Reports in PC+9, each item on the report in Word is in its own “ frame .” This creates a very, very unfriendly document to edit. Frames were designed to create web pages, not word processor do...

Printing Problem
Thanks Jeff, I used to do that workaround in our old DOS days with PC+ 6.2 and WordPerfect 5.1, to get the reports to fit just right into double window envelopes. Since PC+ 8, the print preview mode has had the buttons to save the report to the disk. Ever since that version, and quite unpredictably,...

Printing problem with PC+ 9
Just installed PC+ 9 and latest maintenance release. The first report I ran on our network printer had the same problem as reputta . The output is overlapping so it's unreadable. It's a Toshiba e-Studio28 copier with a network print board installed. Printing the same report on LPT1: to our HP LaserJ...
