Thanks, Tracy. The check reader flashes green. (I can fire up a serial terminal program on COM3 9600 8N1 and see the formatted ASCII string after scanning a check.) No red or orange. You have a Windows 7 64-bit machine. There is an updated control that needs to be installed on the system. Contact support (via email is good) and you'll be directed where to get the update.
