Re: Transfer of funds from checking to investment
Neil, I know this is an old topic, but I am in the same position as Murray_Page. I understand the simple debit/credit transaction for moving the funds from checking to the investment, but how would you record the actual check writing transaction that would occur to get the money to the investment fi...

Re: Ohio Post 11/23 Tax Table Update
Sorry for the tardy response. Yes, we made a new tax table with the new Ohio template and applied it to all active employees. Do we need to apply it to terminated employees as well?

Ohio Post 11/23 Tax Table Update
I am using PowerChurch Plus 12.2 in Ohio. I got the notice that the Ohio income tax table for post 11/23 had changed. I followed the instructions to update the table, but I'm still getting the notice that some of my employees are still using the pre 11/23 table every time I go into Maintain List of ...

Re: Can't find an old transaction in PC+
A follow up question. Since I can't see the original transaction, how can I know what accounts were debited and credited? How would I structure a reversing/adjusting transaction?

Re: Can't find an old transaction in PC+
Thanks for the advice. That was going to be my fallback if there was no way to get to the actual transaction.

Can't find an old transaction in PC+
We have been using PC+ since 2004 and are currently using V12. Our bank reconciliation report shows an outstanding deposit date 3/22/2003. It's actually the deposit half of a voided check. My problem is that I can't find that deposit to reverse or void it because all of the tools only allow me to go...

Re: Reporting New Hires - Ohio
John - I compared the new hires reporting requirements in your state to the ones in Ohio and they are definitely different. Ohio adds "independent contractors" to the requirements for reporting as new hires. I was hoping to hear from other Powerchurch users in Ohio about their practices and experien...

Re: Reporting New Hires - Ohio
One would think so, but take a look at this webpage and see what you think it says about "employees" and "contractors".

Reporting New Hires - Ohio
As a relatively new Treasurer for our church, I have recently learned that the State of Ohio requires that new hires be reported to the "Ohio New Hire Reporting Center". Perhaps other states requires this as well. Reporting newly hired employees seems straight forward, but it also appears that "new ...
