This issue was reported as a bug and fixed in the Feb 2010 maintenance release.

Make sure you have the most current maintenance release in v.11 by going to the help menu and clicking on the download maintenance release option

You are correct about the salaried employee's change in salary not asking to put this into the history. This issue has been reported as a bug.

To reset the IDS password you would need to actually have powerchurch tech support do this.

You would not be able to see an absentee list from the Check In system, however, if PC+ is set up to record attendance for the event then you can get a report for absentees from PC+ as soon as your sure everyone has been checked in to the Check In system.
