Re: Wrong Federal Withholding Deducts
What I found after posting my two cents: I checked all my payroll items and found that, to the best of my knowledge, the one employee had not had any pay in the previous payroll so was opted out and re-included in this payperiod. All the other employees deductions appear to be correct. When I checke...

Re: Wrong Federal Withholding Deducts
I'm having the same challenge. I entered the update for Federal Withholding on January 2 or 3 whenever they had the new tables out following the instructions given. Today, one of my employees asked why her pay was like $60 less when she got a 2% increase. The only thing I can see is that FIT is more...

Re: Employee Payroll Income and Tax Question
Thank you, John, for all your help. Your responses led to my finding an error in posting my deductions. The actual challenge with the resetting of taxes to zero was in the Group setting I had assigned. I had changed it to a Temporary Group with a Miscellaneous Payperiod of 1 which totally threw off ...

XP 11.5 Payroll set up with 4 taxable income items, Federal, State, SS, Medicare deductions and was working fine. Added 5th taxable income item, and taxable benefit item, and it wiped out Federal and State Income Tax deductions. SS and Medicare remain. Am I limited in number for income items? What h...

Re: W2 Information Missing
Am I understanding correctly that I can make changes to my pastor's payroll set-up at/after year-end and it won't mess anything else up? Specifically, SS and Medicare Wage boxes which I thought were set correctly but now don't appear to be and also Housing and Utilities allowances? Thanks, I'm learn...

Re: Health Savings Account Employee Benefit
Thank you all for your feedback.
I must admit, though, I'm a little dense and still do not understand how to implement what Jeff is suggesting.
Thanks again for your help.

Health Savings Account Employee Benefit
Our church has just established Health Savings Accounts plans for our employees. I have searched the Forum and the Reference Manual and have not found the answer to my question although there are some references to HSAs. I will appreciate any assistance to set up the payroll module for a HSA contrib...

Re: Contributions & Fund Summary-no match
Thank you for your prompt reply, Neil. After doing as you suggested, I still do not receive the correct result. In further investigation on my part, I found that it was not including the last month's data entered (August) in the Pledge Summary total, at least that is what I believe to be the case. W...
