Re: Really dumb entry error
Thanks Neil! Looks like I'll be re-entering then. We can't afford the customer service charges for my dumb mistake. I think I'll be able to go back to an old month end back-up to get rid of the invalid data though! :) Thanks again, Lisa Office Manager Gloria Dei Lutheran Church I'd be careful, if y...

Re: Really dumb entry error
Ok, I admit it, I was stupid! I entered our 2010 attendance data through the end of April with a 2009 date! I just started putting in the data with a month and day, assuming that the program would automatically use the current year, not the previous year like it does in so many other areas w...

New Checking Account
Hi, We are running PC+ Version 10. We have opened a new checking account that is replacing the old. The old will be closed once everything has cleared. I need to change the default account number on all of the vendors in Accounts Payable and all of the fund codes in Contributions to the new account....

Re: Maintenance Release - Version 10 - 3/17/09
First off, I know this is the wrong place for this, but the Maintenance Release Forum won't let me post there. It tells me only Moderators can post to that forum. FYI, any user can respond to an existing topic, but only Moderators can post new topics. Sounds like you were trying to post a new topic...

Try downloading the file again. That happens sometimes when downloading larger files. Your browser thought the download was complete before it actually was. I tried that a number of times, but it still didn't work. I ended up trying to download through Internet Explorer instead of AOL, and it seems...

Maintenance Release - Version 10 - 3/17/09
First off, I know this is the wrong place for this, but the Maintenance Release Forum won't let me post there. It tells me only Moderators can post to that forum. That being said, I just received notification of this MR and downloaded it immediately. When I went to run it, I got an error message tha...

Re: Network Problems
I should have mentioned this will happen, I've done this so often I don't even think about having to do this. Due to the reinstall, the system has no idea it has data files available, nor that its registered. OK ... here's what you should do. You're going to fool the setup program. The program is g...

Re: Network Problems
I am running PCP V. 10.4 on a network. I had a catastrophic failure on the server (my computer) which necessitated the hard drive be wiped clean and Windows XP be reloaded :( . Luckily, I back up to tape each night so getting all the data back on was no problem and PCP is running fine on the server...

Contribution Reports
I would like to see the date a contribution was received on the Selected Contributors report. For example, we took up a collection for Hurricane Relief. Both the Funds Report and the Selected Contributor Report shows that we received $425 for this collection, however the Account Activity Report in F...

Statement Printing
We have a number of families in which there are Junior & Senior members of the family living at the same address. When we print contribution statements, the suffix "Jr." or "Sr." does not print causing a lot of confusion. Is this something that can be fixed with a maintenance release to Version 10 o...

Do you do complete computer backups at your site? Perhaps the system had to be restored for some reason thus entailing a complete restore of the computer?? I do complete system backups weekly, but have never restored the entire system, only individual word processing or desktop publishing files. An...
