void check - which month does it post to?

I voided a check that was written last year. It s currently sitting with all my March 2008 unposted entries. Will it be posted to March 2008? If so, I need it to post to last year (I have not closed out the year yet). How do I remove the voided check entry from March 2008 & move it to Dec 2007? Than...

This is what we are doing, but with a variety of pass thru accounts. How does a contribution designated for this account, and then get posted into the pass thru account? On the contribution one can only designate a fund, not an account within that fund.

Thanks again

Yes there is. I originally set it up by copying the GENERAL FUND accounts. I think I may have deleted one too many accounts (because I don't need them all). Is there a specific account value that I should make sure is there?

Contributions posting to wrong fund

I have set up a SPECIAL PROJECTS fund with what I believe to be the correct accounts (basically a pass through account). When I enter the contributions they get posted to the General fund. How can I correct this?

Thanks in advance for your assistance..........bill

Bank reconciliation

Thanks for the directions. I went through the journal entry & noticed that I had incorrectly posted a debit back to the checking account when it should have gone to an expense account. I posted an adjusting entry & all is well. Left a paper trail too so anyone following can understand. Thanks for yo...

Bank Reconciliation

I have a situation where the check amount does not equal the amount in the reconciliation list. I have confirmed that the paid items (AP) and the posting items are correct (match to check). What would cause this & how do I go about correcting it? Thnaks in advance.......bill

I understand the way it is set up - I have the spouse as the second tributor to the same envelope number. I guess I could fool the system by having three profiles set up 1 for both & then two separate ones for each of the spouses. This may cause me other questions. The only area that some people may...

Family name on contribution form

I have set up a family profile with both spouses as individual profile members, but contributing to the same envelope number. Now only a single name appears on the deposit slip and on the tax receipt (the first name entered in the profile). Is there an easy way to get both spouses names to appear on...
