Please help!! Auditing the bank reconciliation report!!
We are undergoing an audit and a couple of questions have come up that I was hoping you could help me with: *the auditor would like to know why - when the bank statement prints out the unreconciled checks do not print out? It only shows the items that have been reconciled so she doesn't know how to ...

VERY COOL!! Thank you, Jeff. I just really like to have some kind of accounting trail (there are times when I look back months later and go - huh?, so I try to put as many 'notes' as possible - and try to make it to where someone else could understand what's going on as well). Thanks for the step-by...

Tom, Thank you for your reply. I am very glad to know that I didn't mess this up! :D However, maybe it's just me, but this seems like something is missing. When anyone goes to look for those checks in PC - there's no record, there's no notes...if someone new was to start working in my position next ...

reprinted checks incorrectly?
I think I may have made a mistake. :( I was printing payroll checks when 2 of them ran through at the same time. So, part of 11616 printed on 11617 and 11617 ended up printing on a blank sheet of paper. So when the little button came up asking if I needed to reprint any checks, for the first time I ...

Hello! okay...I am just now getting to this. I have gone into the Contributions Module and done as Zaphod said (entered a -173.00, then entered 50.00 and only updated the Contributions Module). This has now adjusted the members contribution statement. When I went into the FA module, went to 'viewed ...

Incorrect contribution check amt - need to repost???
Okay....I understand the symantecs behind it now - thank you!!! But, and this is really going to sound dumb, Zaphod said: Enter a reversing transaction in Fund Accounting for that whole original deposit. Then, reenter the deposit using the correct total. Run a Journal Report in Fund Accounting to se...

Incorrect contribution check amt - need to repost???
Thank you for the replies! Just so I am clear on something: after I have entered in the -$173.00 and added the $50.00 contribution into the Contribution Module, should I be updating the Contributions Module only? or the Contributions and Fund Accounting Module? (seems like I should be following this...

Incorrect contribution check amt - need to repost???
I know this should probably be a no-brainer...but please forgive me, I am just not sure! I received a check a couple of weeks ago with a dollar amount of $173.00, however they had written out fifty dollars...unfortunately I didn't catch this and put it in as $173.00. The bank sent a notice sa...

Payroll ? - $ discrepancy
Thank you for replying - I've been out sick! :? Yes, I did make the changes to the tables (tax tables were updated per Table 7 of the Circular E and the 2007 personal exemption rate was changed to reflect $3400.00). I'm not sure if I was clear though. His check increased in FIT by $1.00 - meaning on...

Payroll ? - $ discrepancy
Is there someone that can help me with this? We had 2 checks in January...the W4 info was submitted and input before the second check was cut but there was no change made to the W4 info or the pay rate - the only change is the personal exemption rate has gone up from last year. Would this make a dif...

budget ? - acct. no longer required
Just wondering...we have a few detail accounts this year that we have not allocated money to...I thought that I would go in and change the description from'budget directly on this account' to 'no budget for this account' (just in case there were any questions - someone scanning a report wouldn't thi...
